Chinese New Year Celebration

This years Chinese new year occurred on Monday, February 8. The zodiac is the monkey. Some people say 2016 is a Red Monkey or Fire Monkey year. This is because the Stem-Branch Calendar is connected to the Five Element theory.Chinese New Year is a time for families to be together. Wherever they are, people come home to celebrate the festival with their families.Every street, building, and house where CNY is celebrated is decorated with red. Red is the main color for the festival, as it is believed to be an auspicious color. Red lanterns hang in streets; red couplets are pasted on doors; banks and official buildings are decorated with red New Year pictures depicting images of prosperity.
Most of the decoration is traditionally done on Chinese New Year’s Eve. Most people give Ang Pao during CNY. The elders give to the younger ones. Inside the Ang pao is Money. Unfortunately for me, i don't celebrate CNY. So i don't get Ang Pao.

    i think you should be more creative to the sentence and give more detail explanation to the composition. adding some pictures is also make it better :) good job Darren ;)

    You are quite good at things like this but you have to give some pictures to make it more interesting and impressive. You should make the reader have interest in your text. At least give some pictures. Overall it is a good job and well done. Keep it up and God Bless :D
